Character Development: Good Character Development

Character development seems to be straightforward. You think up a character, and you write that character. But developing good characters isn’t so easy. By now you probably know that I think every piece of writing is a little elusive. This week, I try to get to the heart of what makes characters in fiction good. This is where the way you live starts to affect the way you write and especially your character development.
