In my last episode, I talked about how understanding logic is extremely important when developing your writing. I talked about how we need to learn more academic logic because it can help us understand the world, and because we are able to understand the world, we will be better able to take those ideas and put them into our writing. This week, we are going to be talking about the first step of logic. This step is called definitions. We need to learn to define what we are talking about before we begin anything else. What does it mean to define something? Well, it does not have much of anything to do with the dictionary?
